Fraunhofer ZSI supports partners from the initial idea through to market-ready pilot production. By combining versatile printing processes, material development, electronics integration, and biological and metrological characterization, new products can be tested and verified quickly and efficiently in an iterative process.
For the transition to series production, the Fraunhofer ZSI team provides support in the development of manufacturing concepts, the selection of suitable machine technology, and optimization for standardized production environments.
In addition, other methods for production (e. g., printed circuit board printing) and analysis (e. g., 3D X-ray CT) can be made available quickly if required.
